Hemmilä before, now and in the future

The company was founded in 1952. The name of the company from the beginning until 1989 was Tiilisalaoja Oy, when it was changed to K. Hemmilä Oy after the brick pipes were decommissioned. The company is still widely known in Satakunta and the surrounding municipalities of Kokemäki as a specialist in field subsoil drainage systems. The company is currently the oldest in Finland, which has continuously carried out field subsoil drainage systems.

In the 1990s, the focus of K. Hemmilä Oy's operations gradually shifted to other construction activities. Contracts, in which various pipelines have played a large part, have been strong areas of the company. The company's tax-free turnover is approximately 2 M €. The company operates within a radius of about 70 km from Kokemäki.
